Ermoupolis is called the "Gueen of Cyclades". It is the capital and main harbour of Syros and also the capital of all the Cycladic Islands. It stands on a naturally amphiteatrical site, with new-classical buildings, old monsions and white hourses in the island style cascading down to the harbour. In Syros there are many catholics too, and it is the seat of a catholic bishop.
