The woman is called "Baiana do acarage".  Baiane because she is from Bahia and Acarage is a type of fried bean dumpling sold on the street of Salvador.  They are women dedicate to the traditional trade of selling acarages of African and Brazilian cuisine. Women, mostly black and with a strong identity in African-based religions, work countless hours in order to be rewarded.

The Fort dos Reis Magos or Fortaleza dos Reis Magos (Fortress of Three Wise Men), is a fortress located in the city of Natal in the Brazilian state of Rio Grande do Norte.  The fortress was the first milesone of the city - founded on 25th December 1599.  It received its name based on the date of commencement of its construction, 6th January 1598, at Epiphany Catholic calendar.
