Greece - Kythnos, Western Cyclades Islands

A small and quiet island, not very known to tourists. But it was famous in antiquity for the excellence of its administration (according to Aristotle in his "Constitution of Kythnos) that recent archeological finds have provided evidence of the earliest presence of man in the Cyclades. The island is mainly mountainous, but there are many vineyards and figtrees and also lovely crystal little bays and beaches around the island.
