Greece - Unesco Monasteries of Daphni, Hosios Loukas and Nea Moni of Chios

The monastery of Osios Loukas in Central Greece, Viotia prefecture.

The monastry probably was built by the monk Loukas in 10th century,  whose body is located at the church. The monastry had a big role during the greek revolution against turks in 1821.
