It is a world famous island. It is no coincidence that this , the most cosmopolitian of all Greek islands, attracts so many visitors all over the world including large number of artists and intellectuals. There are so many windmills there and houses are small and white ones with blue or red windows and doors. One of the most picturesque neighbourhoods of capital village which is called Chora too(and famous and often photographed). It is called "little Venice", because houses are almost into the sea.
