Scotland - Linlithgow Palace

Famous for being where Mary Queen of Scots was born, this impressive castle ruin used to be a residence for the Scottish royal families of the Renaissance.

In Outlander it featured as the infamous Wentworth prison where Jamie Fraser was incarcerated and tortured by Black Jack Randall.
